Gozo

The island of Gozo is approximately 14km from end to end and is separated from it's neighbour Malta by just 8km of sea, but it's a world apart nonetheless, both topographically and culturally.

Gozitans - have a rural laid-back demeanour and tabletop hills and steep valleys characterize the landscape. The beaches, and the entire coastline have been left largely untamed and retain a glorious natural look. Gozo was settled around 5000 BC by Neolithic settlers and the Ggantija Temples are reportedly the oldest freestanding structure in the world. For the tourist, Gozo can be a place of being rather than doing although there is much to see and experience if you would like to find out more visit gozo.com
